CLASSIFICATION OF MASSAGE TYPES

MASSAGE RECEPTIONS
In the Russian classical school of massage, there are 4 main and several additional techniques for its implementation:
1. Stroking: – mechanical impact on biological tissue with the hands of a masseur with constant pressure not exceeding the severity of the brush, for one pass, in a centripetal direction.
2. Squeezing: – mechanical effect on biological tissue with the hands of a masseur with constant pressure, oriented to the threshold level of pain sensitivity for one pass, in a centripetal direction.
3. Rubbing: this is a mechanical effect on biological tissue by the hands of a masseur with constant pressure at the threshold of pain sensitivity for one pass, performed without regard to centripetal force.
4. Kneading: – a mechanical effect on the biological tissue by the hands of a masseur with rhythmically changing pressure from zero to the threshold of pain sensitivity, performed in a spiral, centripetal direction.
Kneading accounts for more than half of all the time allotted for a massage session. With its help, access to the deep muscle layers is provided. It contributes to the rapid removal of carbon dioxide and lactic acid from the tissues, so kneading is necessary after heavy physical and sports loads. With the help of kneading, muscle fibers are stretched, resulting in increased elasticity of muscle tissue. With regular exposure, muscle strength increases.

CLASSIC MASSAGE
Classical massage is an active means of prevention and prevention of various diseases, it is used to maintain working capacity and general recovery. It has several names: general, wellness, preventive, hygienic and relaxing. It is usually performed throughout the body, from head to toe using the classical technique, using all six generally accepted techniques: stroking, squeezing, rubbing, kneading, vibration and striking. Classical massage relaxes muscles, improves blood supply to tissues, skin condition and internal organs, activates the body’s defenses, enhances lymph outflow and removes toxins. The duration of the session, as well as the depth and intensity of the massage should be individual for each person and equal to an average of 40-60 minutes.

MASSOTHERAPY
Therapeutic massage is used at all stages, both during the treatment process, and after it – in the rehabilitation phase, and practically has no boundaries of application. It has both an independent therapeutic function and an auxiliary one – enhancing the action of drugs. With it, diseases are treated: cardiovascular system, nervous system, musculoskeletal system, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, gynecological diseases, urological diseases, metabolic disorders and many others. There are a large number of its subspecies: anti-cellulite, honey, lymphatic drainage, vacuum, acupressure, modeling, Thai, erotic, oriental, tantric, chocolate massage, gouache, nada, shiatsu and others.
Anti-cellulite massage is focused exclusively on the subcutaneous fat layer and is aimed at enhancing blood circulation and metabolic processes in the subcutaneous fat layer. It includes massage of the lumbosacral region, buttocks, thighs and abdomen. Anti-cellulite massage improves the flow and outflow of blood, lymph, as well as intercellular fluid and stimulates the development of “youth proteins” – elastin and collagen. As a result, the number of fat cells decreases and the orange peel disappears. In addition, it makes the muscles of the hips and buttocks more elastic, making them look young and attractive, stabilizes the metabolism and cleanses the body of toxins and toxins. Anti-cellulite massage is carried out comprehensively using creams, oils, salts and mud. A very good effect is achieved when combining it with honey massage.
Honey massage is a type of medical massage aimed at improving the condition of the skin, removing toxins from the body and strengthening immunity. Strong pats during honey massage warm up the body, and sticky honey draws out toxic substances that have accumulated in the skin and tissues adjacent to it. Honey has healing properties and therefore honey massage instantly brings tired skin to tone, rejuvenates and makes it smooth and silky.
